I am currently reading "The Diary of a Young Girl" and I must say this is one of the greatest books I've ever read. It's really interesting to read because you can see that Anne Frank had the same problems like most girls her age: school, friends, boys, family, growing up. Then she goes into hiding in the secret Annexe and it's really interesting to see her day to day life in hiding. How they all have to keep quiet so the workers at the firm or the neighbours don't hear them. The problems with food shortages. The problems she had to face with everyone criticising her. That she didn't act how they wanted her too, the problems with the different people living in the Annexe. So far I'm about half way through the book but I just thought I'd let you know that this is a book worth reading. I'm not going to lie to you. I read a lot and this is one of the few books that really has me interested. Most books I kind off force myself to finish for the sake of it but there are a few books like Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Les Miserables, The Diary of a Young Girl (to name but 3) that I really get into and cannot stop reading. Of course there are books like Twilight, Of Mice and Men, Lord of The Flies that just shouldn't exist because they take all the joy out of life. But I'm not going to go into detail about them.
So I do reccomend you go to your local library or buy the book online, or even download an audio book because this is a great book and it's not as boring as some people may think it is.
